Ms Jenni Hampshire of Sparklewren fame - she who has been working closely with the Queen of British showgirls, Immodesty Blaize for the last few months, will be giving a one day masterclass on Couture style Embellishment at the House of Pin on Saturday 25 August 2012.

Students will each work with a special fabric sampler designed and made by Jenni who will be using it to demonstrate how to embellish a corset or special outfit with couture lace, swaravski crystals, embroidery, feathers, and more. There will be a chance to decorate and discuss your own work if you so wish and Jenni will bring a stash of her own embelishments for students to use and experiment with alongside other decorative materials supplied by the Studio.
There will also be an opportunity to view and handle some of Jenni's own exquisite work and obviously plenty of time for questions and discussion throughout the day.
A kit with components specially selected by Jenni, containing the essential tools for top notch embelishment and worth £27.00 is included in the price and contains:

Refreshments, lunch and cake are also included in the price along with use of the dedicated studio equipment and a tranquil woodland setting.
There are a minimum of 4 places on this course and a maximum of 6. If the minumum number is not reached, refunds will be issued. The masterclass does have a specific focus on corsetry but the techniques can be used in a wide range of dressmaking applications.
There is a big demand for this class so do book early to avoid disappointment.
