Hello and welcome to the House of Pin blog where I intend to talk about all aspects of sewing with a heavy bias towards the vintage and historical aspects of clothing. This is also where you will be able to find out about and book the courses I run in my studio.
I am a self taught corsetiere and trained pattern cutter - I design, make and sell corsets, clothes and costumes under the label MarmaladeKiss and I am also the owner of Sew Curvy Corsetry, an online shop selling corset making supplies and haberdashery along with all inclusive corset kits aimed at beginners. I also write the blog House of Marmalade (seriously neglected at the moment!)
